These Miito-ori fabrics are naturally dyed and woven by Miito Orimono, founded in 1874. For over 140 years, they have preserved the tradition of producing pure, durable cotton through generations.

This versatile fabric is ideal for clothing, bags, pouches, handkerchiefs, or ties, and can be enjoyed year-round. Fraying the edges to create soft fringes adds a charming touch—perfect for scarves or table linens.

The fabric width is approximately 15", which is narrower than standard fabrics, reflecting the traditional width used for kimono and yukata in Japan.

Care Instructions:
-Please pre-wash your fabric before sewing to remove excess dye. AIR DRY AND DO NOT USE A DRYER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
-As it is dyed with natural indigo, some color transfer may occur with strong friction until the dye fully sets.

Washing Instructions:
-The fabric may slightly fade due to friction with water, so avoid washing it with other items.
-Reshape the fabric while drying to maintain its form.
